Darling- First Post for Scrapberry's

Its my first post on the Scrapberry's blog and I'm just so happy to be here.
Below is a layout I created using the new Antique Shop Collection.

I used the paper "The Depth of the Ocean" from this collection as i love the distress wood paper as a background.

As the weathered wood reminds me of the ocean, I created an ocean-like layout using a palm tree stencil. Since I hadn't received all my amazing Scrapberrys products in the mail yet, I had to use many different embellishments to compliment the page.

I tried to create texture in the background with modelling paste, stamping and sprays.

Products
Papers: Scrapberry's Antique Shop
Blue Fern studios chipboard
Prima flowers and leaves
Stencil Prima and Scrap Fx
Prima Color Bloom spray: cobalt blue, antique gold, empress gold
Prima Finnabair stamp
Prima Finnabair art basics light modelling paste
Micron brown pen
Tim holtz distress ink pad: gathered twigs
Sisal texture

Thank so much for visiting my blog and the Scrapberry's blog!!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Keren,
Gorgeous layout, design and embellies. I really like the paper and colors and the palm stencil is cool. Where did you finally find the sisal fibers?
