Inspirational Canvas- Prima September PPP

I created this inspirational canvas using one of my favourite quotes:

"Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly"

I just love this quote so much because the meaning is so true. So many people think the world is over when something happens to them, when there's a negative change in their life. However, I believe that every change brings good, too. It sometimes brings more good than bad, but people are so scared of changing, of the unknown, that they rather stay the way they are than be open to change.

This canvas has the perfect colors for this month's Prima PPP.
It is such beautiful, soft palette and I hope you come to the Prima blog to play with us this month.

I got inspired by the Elementals Butterflies mask which I used all over the canvas. It fit perfectly with the quote. I added the resin butterfly as a centerpiece and surrounded it with flowers and leaves. Finally I accented it with two Mechanical leaves to add more texture to the canvas."

I used the Delight collection for this layout with lots of the new Prima La Tela Canvas flowers.  I loved combining the soft palette papers with the mechanicals as it gave it a special touch.

This month's palette is the most beautiful in a very long time and I am definitely going to play along!
*smiling* the quote is exactly what it's all about, that light and dark co-exist side by side and that change can look daunting at first glance before one sees the beauty of the new. Love both your gorgeous canvas and how you put words to it!! xoxox
